Download and Printing Instructions

The evaluation copy consists of the Table of Content, Preface and Chapters 1-2. It is available as a 36 page Adobe PDF file. The Adobe Acrobat 3.0 Reader and plugin can be downloaded from their web site by clicking the "Get Acrobat Reader" icon below. The evaluation copy is only 354KB so it will take less than a minute to download using a 28.8 modem. If you have the Acrobat plugin installed then by clicking the link below the PDF file will be downloaded to a temp file on your computer and the Acrobat Reader plugin will display the file. You can then print out the file.

Unfortunately, the Acrobat Reader doesn't allow you to save the PDF file. Instead we suggest:

  1. Right-click on the desired link below.
  2. Select the download option (either "Save Link as" in Netscape or "Save Target as" in IE).
  3. Save the file using its suggested name, e.g., calcman012.pdf in a directory of your choice.
  4. View the file by double-clicking it (this assumes that the Adobe Acrobat Reader plugin is installed).
  5. Print out the file using the Acrobat File menu (it will print in color if you have a color printer).
