Things to note

  • We offer calculus in a 4-semester sequence (241-244) and a 3-semester sequence (251A-253A), as well as in tracks for different majors.
  • Students looking to satisfy their Foundations of Quantitative Reasoning requirement may take Math 100.
  • Math 243 and 244 together cover essentially the same material as Math 253A by itself.
  • Math 251A and 241 have almost identical content, although Math 251A may be taught in a more conceptual way; Math 252A and 242 are somewhat different but altogether the two sequences Math 251A-253A and Math 241-244 cover the same material.
