Professor Michelle Manes has been appointed as one of the Editors-in-Chief of La Matematica, the new journal of the Association for Women in Mathematics.

The Editors-in-Chief are Donatella Danielli (Arizona State), Kathryn Leonard (Occidental College), Michelle Manes, and Ami Radunskaya (Pomona College).

Manes is specifically the Editor-in-Chief for the journal’s section on Algebra and Geometry including Number Theory, Algebraic Combinatorics, Topology, and Related Fields.

In addition, Associate Professor Elizabeth Gross is one of the 62 Associate Editors of La Matematica, and one of 11 Associate Editors in the journal’s section for Mathematical Modeling, Dynamical Systems, Numerical Analysis, and Related Fields.
