This is a one-day graduate conference to be held in Oxford on Thursday 28th April 2011. The idea is to get research students from the TCC institutions (and beyond) to come together to share and discuss their areas of research in a relaxed atmosphere. Previous TCC Event Days have covered topics such as Number Theory and Geometry. This year we invite algebra students to attend this conference.

Room 1 of the Mathematical Institute, Oxford. Lunch will be provided,
as will tea and coffee. Following the last talk there will be a free
wine reception for the conference guests.

If you are an undergraduate please ignore the last 3 bullet points above. Also please note that we are not able to reimburse travel expenses for undergraduate students.
This conference is funded by the Taught Course Centre. Graduate
students are welcome to apply for funding from the organisers for help
with travel costs to/from Oxford. When registering please give an
estimate of the amount required. Priority for funding will be given on
a first-come-first-serve basis.
