Textbook
  • University Calculus by Hass, Weir, and Thomas. This is the book used in Math 241 and Math 242.
Homework:
  • Hw 1 (with solutions) (assigned on Thursday August 24th, due on Thursday September 21st).
  • Hw 2 (with solutions) (assigned on Thursday October 5th, due on Thursday November 9th)Instructions: Print out the homework, write down the solutions on it and staple it before you turn it in. Make sure that your solutions are correct, nicely written and well explained. Show you work, write each step of your reasonings. I will probably grade only 4 out of the 8 problems of the homework. However, I will mark off points for every skipped problem.
  • Hw 3 (with solutions) 3 (assigned on Thursday November 23rd, due on Thursday December 7th). Instructions: Print out the homework, write down the solutions on it and staple it before you turn it in. Make sure that your solutions are correct, nicely written and well explained. Show you work, write each step of your reasonings. I will probably grade only 5 out of the 10 problems of the homework. However, I will mark off points for every skipped problem.
