Exam 1:

Exam 1 has been pushed back one week, it is Thursday 2/8 for sections 11-12, and Friday 2/9 for section 13.
The exam will cover 7.1, and chapter 6 exlcuding 6.5 (exponential growth) and 6.7 (hyperbolic functions).
The exam is 50 minutes for all sections.
No formula sheet will be provided for this exam.
Here are some practice problems. You can turn these problems in the day of the exam for extra credit.
Here is spring 2023 exam 1, note that exponential growth (problem 6) will not be on your exam.

Exam 2:

Exam 2 it is Thursday 3/7 for sections 11-12, and Friday 3/8 for section 13.
The exam will cover 7.2-7.8 (excluding 7.6) and 11.1
The exam is 50 minutes for all sections.
This will be your formula sheet for this exam.
Here are some practice problems. You can turn these problems in the day of the exam for extra credit.

(1e) There is a missing \(x\) in the numerator.
(5b) The term \(4x^2\) should be \(4x^4\).
(6i) the summand should be \((-1)^k \frac{1}{2^k}\), not with \(n\)'s.

Stats: \(\mu=21.8\) (70%), \(\sigma=8.0\), distribution, averages. The average score of a person who scored 2 or higher on the practice exam is 90%, whereas the average score of someone who scored 1 or lower on the practice exam is 59%.

Exam 3:

Exam 3 it is Thursday 4/11 for sections 11-12, and Friday 4/12 for section 13.
The exam will cover 11.1-11.8.
The exam is 50 minutes for all sections.
There will be no formula sheet for exam 3.

The final exam is Wednesday 5/8 12-2p in Spalding Hall 155.
