We will cover universal algebra starting with basic concepts such as algebras, subalgebras, homomorphisms and congruences (and congruence lattices), direct products, etc. More advanced topics may include the commutator theory, tame congruence theory, Mal'tsev conditions, varieties and equational logic, and applications to combinatorics.
