Math 253 Exam 3 Fall 2023

Exam will be Wednesday, November 22, split between the two class times.

1. The exam is not open book, but you are permitted to use one side of one 8x11 sheet of paper as a crib sheet with whatever you want on it: formulas, worked examples, daily affirmations, whatever you want to put on your sheet.
2. No calculators.
3. I will provide a table of integrals (same one as last time).

Exam Coverage:

14.7 (classification of critical points), 14.8, and Chapter 15 in the text

If you've done the HW there shouldn't be any surprises here, as I'm not going to try to be too creative with the exam.

The exam will be roughtly 20% from Ch. 14, 80% from Ch. 15.
