We will be hosting an Algebraic Statistics conference from May 16 – 20, 2022.
Algebraic statistics is an interdisciplinary field that combines statistics, algebraic geometry, commutative algebra, polyhedral geometry, and graph theory.
The statistical models studied come from many fields, including evolutionary biology and machine learning (both will have a good representation at this conference).
All are welcome to attend, but please register to help with planning.
Talk titles and abstracts should be posted within the next week.
All talks will be held in Bilger 150.
