The department was awarded 3 new Simons Foundation Collaboration Grants for Mathematicians this season, making us joint #6 after Michigan State with 5 and Texas A&M, Indiana, Iowa State, and Baylor with 4 each. The “team” consisted of Assistant Professors Younsi and Sale and Professor Kjos-Hanssen.
